Short-stretch compression bandage.
Indications:
- Treatment of oedema (traumatic or chronic).
- Treatment of lymphoedema.
- Chronic venous insufficiency (as an alternative to compression stockings).
- Following sclerotherapy or varicose vein surgery.
- Treatment of venous ulcers (with ABI > 0.8 or under close medical supervision for an ABI between 0.5 and 0.8).
- Symptomatic treatment of deep or superficial acute venous thrombosis.
- Prevention of post-thrombotic syndrome: alternative to compression stockings for at-risk patients.
- Alternative to compression stockings for the treatment of oedema of the legs or swelling during pregnancy.
- Treatment of symptoms related to soft tissue injuries.
