Post Op Dressing Retention Sock

Product information
The Post-Op Dressing Retention Sock utilizes a very soft, compressive fit, with a belt suspension to cover and retain postoperative dressings for trans-femoral amputees. Surgeons often want to limit compression therapy, while still needing to retain postoperative dressings. In the past, many methods have been used, (tape, glue, netting, loose fitted elastic wraps) all with limited success. The Dressing Retention Sock is designed on the model the Compressogrip® AK Shrinker. Soft Lycra® and CoolMax® body for low compression. Universal right or left belt system to maintain secure suspension. Aids in retaining surgical dressing in place. Can be used for AK or BK. Can be used over dressing and then use an ace bandage over the top to apply “controlled” compression.
