The X-Wool® Prosthetic Sock is made out of Virgin Wool and plaited inside with Polyester/X-Static®/Lycra® core-spun yarn. This sock features X-Static®, a fiber system made with pure silver. Silver is naturally antimicrobial, enabling X-Static® to inhibit odor in the garment. Silver also has thermodynamic properties, so patients stay cooler in the summer and warmer in winter. Absorbent virgin wool is thick and cushioning. Lycra allows garment to contour without stretching out and accommodates flexion. Fleeced to add softness.
