The SoftskinAir 2L is designed with two layers of silicone; a soft inner layer that provides a smooth, non-irritating surface for gentle protective skin contact, and a firmer outer layer for stability and control. The knitted fabric cover optimizes compression and guidance of the residual limb into the socket. During movement, the liner reduces shear forces and tension between the skin and the liner, providing additional user comfort. The incorporated patented Uniprox Air Technology micropores, aid in the prevention of sweat accumulation between the skin and the inner silicone layer.
